Esther Ngomeli
Founder & CeO
Esther Ngomeli is a Seasoned Entrepreneur and Marketer, with over twenty-five years (25) experience in corporate leadership and is the Founder/CEO of Zenith East Africa Limited, a strategic business management and integrated communication group. Her recent assignment was with Redhouse Group, a multi-function, Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) agency with an expansive footprint in East and Central Africa where she was the Co-Founder and Director while also handling the responsibilities of the Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Deputy CEO. Previously, she held the position of Founder and Managing Director of the anchor advertising agency within Redhouse Group – BBDO Media Edge Interactive Limited.
As an entrepreneur and business leader, she has been instrumental in providing Strategic Business and Communications Counsel that has resulted in the growth of these startup organizations within Redhouse Group; as well as growing key brands and businesses, both on national, regional and global platforms, and in multiple sectors. She has honed her competencies in Leadership, Strategic Planning, Business and Financial Management, Marketing, Stakeholder Management and Integrated Communication, powered by a knack for creativity and a passion for growing great brands and businesses in sub-Saharan Africa.
She also has been responsible for initiating and growing Media Edge Group and its subsidiary business units from infancy in the year 2000, into reputable brands in various marketing communication disciplines, led by Media Edge Interactive now BBDO Media Edge Interactive, which was rated one of the TOP 100 fastest growing Medium Sized Companies in Kenya in the KPMG Business Daily TOP 100 Index and also has won coveted awards from the Grand Prix – Kenya’s first and only at the Loeries Awards – Africa Chapter, Gold Loeries, APA awards just to name a few.

Moezz Mir
Chief Executive Officer
With over 20 years of leadership in corporate and investment banking across the region , Moezz Mir brings a legacy of transformation, strategy, and financial precision to M3 Capital. As the former CEO of SBM Bank Kenya, he was instrumental in scaling the institution’s operations following major acquisitions, positioning it as a key player in East Africa’s financial sector.
Prior to this, Moezz served as Managing Director of KCB Bank Tanzania, where he led business transition models and developed turnaround strategies that significantly improved performance and operational efficiency. At KCB Group in Kenya, he held the role of Director of Corporate Banking, where he drove growth in institutional banking, enhanced regional client engagement, and oversaw strategic expansion initiatives across East Africa.
As a respected thought leader and strategic advisor, Moezz has consistently championed innovation in capital solutions, balance sheet restructuring, and cross-border deal-making. His expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, and institutional banking — backed by a deep understanding of both global capital flows and African market dynamics.
Moezz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kingston University (London) and is an alumnus of the Global Executive Development Programme at GIBS. He also serves as the Chair of the Kenya National Entrepreneurs Savings Trust (KNEST), promoting inclusive financial access. At M3 Capital, Moezz leads a mission to bridge global ambition with African opportunity — by delivering insight-driven, impact-focused corporate finance advisory.
Apollo Ongara
Associate Director
Apollo Ongara is a seasoned finance executive with over 15 years of experience in credit risk management, corporate banking, and financial restructuring. Before joining M3 Capital, he held leadership positions at some of Kenya’s most prominent financial institutions, including KCB Bank Group, Family Bank, and Barclays Bank.
As Director of Credit at KCB Group, Apollo played a critical role in driving credit strategy across the region, contributing to sustainable portfolio growth while optimizing risk frameworks. At Family Bank, he helped the institution expand its corporate and mortgage lending offerings, reinforcing his expertise in structuring complex deals and navigating evolving regulatory environments.
Apollo brings a sharp analytical lens and deep local market insights to M3 Capital’s clients, advising on debt structuring, capital optimization, and institutional finance strategies. His experience strengthens M3’s ability to deliver bespoke, impact-driven financial solutions across Africa and beyond.
Leah Okullo
Associate Director
Leah is a capital raising and transaction advisory professional with over 15 years of experience across Africa and other emerging markets. At M3 Capital, she plays a key role in structuring and executing capital market transactions across sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate, and healthcare. Her deep understanding of investor requirements and regional development priorities positions her as a critical bridge between capital and opportunity on the continent.
Prior to joining M3 Capital, Leah held senior roles at leading institutions including Delphos International, KCB Group, NCBA Capital, and Acumen Fund. She has led complex transactions such as the $56 million acquisition of the National Bank of Kenya by KCB Group and the development of a $1 billion Pan-African impact fund strategy. Leah has also advised on capital raises for data centers in Kenya, Brazil, and Ukraine, and contributed to high-level industry platforms such as International Telecoms Week and the Africa Investment Exchange.
Leah holds a degree from Middlebury College. Her work continues to focus on unlocking private capital for development impact across the continent.
